    Many on here could do the job he does, though. Would be nice if he gave more of his opinion and just not report the obvious leave that for the less talented writers.

    Besides one recent piece (i was a bit surprised) , he never says writes negative at all. Maybe that's because he's so controlled, i am not sure. I am not a fan of anyone who doesn't call out a player or management regardless if you agree or not.

The reality is we have next to nothing left in payroll at this point and won't be signing anyone significant.

    The only news guys like Blair, Shi, Wilner and BNS break are call ups and the odd extremely minor dealing AKA the Leon trade. Not once in their career have they been 1st on a major trade, which is kind of pathetic when you work for the Jays. These guys obviously aren't sucking enough dick to become more successful.

    Please don't think that way because you'll set yourself up for disappointment. Revere and Storen's salaries are a wash on our books and doesn't indicated that we actually have any money to spend.

    We should never quote SN people simply because they never break anything major. I hate when they say " player x, y z is available" but can never break trades 1st.

    That $5-$7 million you mention is generous, it's more like $1-$2 million

    Should be stretched out to be a starter, but the problem is the budget, Osuna will be wasted as our closer next season because we can't afford a decent replacement.

    Rogers has been a joke since they have owned the team when it comes to payroll until the past few years. They figured out that spending money to make money works out pretty well. BTW, I never said $140 million wasn't enough to win with, but with our market potential it could easily be higher no question.
