  1. Let's put a 10 spot up today and save the pen for game 2.
  2. You could wear a chin strap with the helmet but then you're just asking to get plunked.
  3. Awesome Springer. Finally some two out hits!
  4. Teoscar is back! ...probably in the second game though.

  6. How many teams are there league wide where Gausman, Manoah and Berrios couldn't crack the starting rotation? Yeah that's what I thought. Also since when is "tier below the handful of elite ACES" equal to superstar? You should re-read Spankys post so you don't end up arguing against points he never made.
  7. This data would also dovetail into pitchers having less command and great stuff. The tracking of Stuff+ (movement, spin velo) show that it is trending whereas Location+ (where the pitch crosses the plate) is a less sought after skill. Don't swing unless it is in the zone (preferably up) because your chances of barrelling it up rise dramatically coupled with pitchers not being able to locate is a prudent formula for success. Not sure they thought of this with Tapia when they acquired him though. Time will tell.
  8. Doesn't absolve them from dumb game time decisions. It just kicks the can down the road. In every field of endeavor some are just better than others. I disagree that they are just mascots. I would rather have Tito in the dugout over Montoyo. I think most would.
  9. If that was strictly the case no manager could ever be blamed for anything.
  10. Everyone sees Montoyo's batting order for the shitshow it is but he seems oblivious.
  11. Ohtani seven shutout innings vs Bosox. Angels 8 Redsox 0
  12. Hang on to your butts....
  13. High throw but outstanding tag by Espi.
  14. They got Tito and we got.....
  15. You can make an arguement for Tapia but Zimmer....that s*** is inexplicable.
