well, it's unfortunate we lost this winnable game. however, with each additional day the standings stay neutral between us and the yankees we're gaining since they have less games to close ground on us.
Because boomhauer as manager doesn't relate well to baseball iq. He made a retarded double switch to set up Sanchez for his second inning (apparently forgetting how wildly successful that move was Saturday).
Not hating on the guy, but there really isn't a pleasant surprise with him offensively. His OBP is < .300 and he seems to have no approach at the plate other than swing if he thinks he can hit it. Would be nice to see him try to work more walks and try to get on base for the rest of the order.
I feel like if the Jays are going to extend JB they're going to need EE's DH position to do it. He has 1 more year if RF as a regular max before he becomes a serious liability.
