You are grossly over stating some negativity. It is asinine to outright ban some harmless venting or criticism. People are not robots. Some tolerance is needed. Pretty crazy to suggest outright banning any negative comments. Wtf is this a prison camp? It's a " discussion" board. Not only half glass full discussions. If someone cannot tolerate different views and no negativity or criticism there is an issue.

People should be allowed to be negative within reason. The fact that some seem to want to ban that is scary.

The constant attacking of posters, calling for bans and calling every comment trolling is what derails GDT'S. Just ignore and let mods deal with it warn the user if they don't stop give a day banning etc... 3 strikes your out. This is the only forum I've seen this is not the normal practice.

Huh? For what? That makes zero sense. I don't do or say anything that deserves banning. ....tolerance is woefully low on this board for different opinions.

YEah mods need to be fully objective...some of the noms are clearly biased against and for certain posters. No offense intended.

Agree, and often it is for people who don't even deserver banning and are not even trolling, they just don;t agree with their opinion...It's silly. Comes down to a lack of tolerance. Saying somehing like "Tulo has struggled lately" should not lead to me being called a troll and spouting his lifetime stats......a guy can be a Hall of famer and struggle for a period of time. That happened to me. Or "The Jays have not hit well with runners on lately", How the frig is that trolling? Nothing wrong with that. It's always the same posters too.

Agree...and the constant calling people trolls derails the GDT's more then anything. If people PM'd mods and ignored they would not get the attention they want.

I never said anything about "Constant"....People are going to vent at times, there is no stopping it especially online. Constant negativity and trolling is not what I am talking about, that is different then some venting and being critical. Do we really want to get rid of critical thought? I never did anything wrong.... LAck of tolerance for others opinions.

There is no rule about being negative, people vent in different ways..... I never understood why he seems so upset when someone vents? Like get a grip. People are allowed to vent frustration or criticize and be negative. People are all different. Obviously some people go over board andthose should be dealt with, but those are the minority. Do we want everyone to be a robot and the same and act the same?Life is not like that, learn some tolerance.

Just need a mod that allows people to express their opinions and not get attacked by the "Click" group of posters that come into every thread and whine about trolls, and think they run the board. Obvious trolls should be dealt with fast though obviously. Seems a certain group of poster get too much leeway here and attack anyone who doesn't conform to their hive mind.
