Its not bright for Jays in 2017. Rogers had spent quite a lot and trying to build a winning team in the last 4 years, it's difficult to continue spending. However, the team need star player to boost fan base. Price and Tulo trade was evident.

Worst of all, if Jays don't make it to playoff the fan base will be gone in 2017 with star player leaving. Lose of reveune and Rogers cuts payroll. We are back mediocre team again.

Very likely, it could also include some option like Papi. Feel sorry for Jose for his injury in FA year, it would really hurt him. Whether he stays in Jays or not, I like to see him get paid.
