    I just admitted most of us are, that's what being a fan is. There are some in every fan base capable of being rational, but the majority aren't. Weams is here to tell us what a bad man Jose is and how dare any of us defend him, but he and most others would be the same way about any guy on their team in the same circumstances.

    And then comes around here to tell us what a bunch of homers we are. Majority of us probably are, as is the norm for fans, some aren't.. but the hypocrisy of it is just too much.

    Just stop. This is what fans do in general, they defend their own. There are some who don't, but for the most part that's what you're going to get. You and just about every other Orioles fan would have little issue if this was any guy on your team. Idiotic to get up on your high horse and try to pretend otherwise.

    Ahh yes, put Bautista in Manny's place and surely you would be saying Bautista meant to let go of the bat, amirite? We all know Jose is evil and Manny is pure as the driven snow.

    Bautista has said that he didn't even realize what he was doing when he flipped that bat. It was heat of the moment and not anything meant to show up the other team considering he hardly registered doing it. I believe him, I've done things while excited that I didn't think about and didn't realize. That should have been enough to put this to rest, but no they have to carry on this childish nonsense half a year later. Continue to vilify, hope it improves your life somehow.

    I don't consider myself blinded, I yell at my tv every time he whines about the strike zone telling him to shut up and sit down. But yes what happened today was 100% about that bat flip. Rangers are big baby sore losers. It was okay when they pimped everything the entire series, though.
