Because real fans hate baseball douchebags, no matter whose team they are on. JB is a talent, but there is something to be said when the GM of another team tells you they don't want you because the fans hate you. JB could be like Ortiz, instead he is a douche. It appears this Management is trying to build a more respectable team which likely means less BS with umpires and other teams. I prefer that model. I let him sign elsewhere and collect the pick. His stunt last spring commenting on 'they got a discount for my years of service now I want to get paid more' was fitting when karma crashed his season. His injuring himself trying to throw the oriole out at first, more karma. The guy doesnt play the right way enough.

You don't like it, don't give. To say anything otherwise is stupid. No one knows the circumstances surrounding what happened. I won't give but I sure wont say there is a problem with it. f***, if people would pay my kids tuitions via gofundme that would be great.

So we wait and miss out and fans go crazy or we sign early and the fans go crazy. Can't make everyone happy. I like the way this team is shaping up. I think we need to be more aggressive in the bullpen and Melancon would have been nice but they are building a better 'team'. This is Josh and Tulos team now. This year will be fun. -

Keep in mind this is training. There is nothing aggressive about what he is doing. Rougned would still explode through him. He needs sparring time. I would like to see him sparring.

Nope, it's not. Until he Signs elsewhere he could come back. So far we have replaces JB and Saunders with Pearce and Morales. EE still fits quite nicely.

Didn't he just get 70 million from the Rockies? Bats has a way worse reputation than Desmond and his comments from last spring followed by his season are exactly why you shut up and play baseball. Never liked JB19, good player who thought he was bigger than the game. Karma...
