    Just came here to say that the Blue Jays getting the first overall pick at the #5 spot might be the best thing I have seen in a long time. I've watched Martin play live about 6 times. His hands are some of the best I have seen. He likely doesn't play shortstop for the Jays but 3rd or OF and he will rake. He could easily be a 15 - 20 hr guy that may hit .330 a few times and win a batting title. I honestly thought Detroit was going to take him at 1, getting him at 5 is absurd. This kid could easily be a bigger star than Bo or Vlad. Kudos. The Jays are going to be so exciting this year and for a while.

    Alford is not a big league ball player (regardless of his athleticism). Puig and Tellez are a toss up as far as who brings what to your team. If Puig is a bad clubhouse influence why would you want him around young, impressionable players. Better off bringing in guys like Panik.

    I don't see him mentioned much here, but I have watched Abel pitch a few times live. That guy has something special. He is young but you would think he is 29. Roy Halladay anyone?

    Gotta think other teams are or have been doing similar things. Not to this extent, but sign stealing is part of the game. Give pitchers and catchers some tools to privatize pitch selection.

    This is true of many intelligent baseball fans. Nothing wrong with it. Just an adaptation to things. I coach my kids baseball to get the 'love of the game' with no WAR etc (even though it is there)
