Well hopefully you don't have the NY baby but if it takes 3 days I hope you guys score some good free stuff! Good luck to her, I hope it goes smoothly.
I think Pillar is pretty handsome but I am a Russell Martin fan and I find JD super hot regardless of stupid beads, ugly shirts and I like his hair. Goins is pretty.
And parents these days! I am not a teacher but many of my friends are and they have horror stories. I have 2 kids in elementary school and I see parents every day. Parents be crazy.
the 9-3:30 with 2 hours of breaks in the day argument makes me laugh and wonder if people have ever actually been in school. My kids' school starts at 8:15. Teachers are already there. They are supervising in the play ground and running early morning clubs or practices. We had conferences last week. Teachers there until 8:00pm 3 nights in a row. Drive past a school any time outside of school hours and there are a few cars there.
Somewhere I saw someone say the avg teacher is paid 100K in Alberta-that's not true. A teacher with a masters and 15 years experience can make 92K. The average is somewhere in the high 50's IIRC.
I've always liked Navarro. Using the official, "Players I'd like to have a beer with" test, he's pretty high. But whoever is the back up C needs to be able to catch Dickey. So if that's not Navarro, he should probably go.
I hope you're right. He's better than he was this year. I hope he gets it together.
Your av reminded me, has anyone seen an update on Cecil's injury? We should assume he's rehabbing well and on track for spring?
MLB isn't a typical employer. If they can punish outside the court of law then they can help as well.
This is the first situation with their new protocol, why not set the bar high? Other major sports have handled abuse situations terribly. MLB can be better.
I'd like to see mandatory therapy regardless of conviction, suspension of some sort and a fine paid in the form of a donation to a women's shelter or charity that supports victims of abuse. I also hope MLB would extend therapy and support to his wife.
