  1. Alcides Escobar magical ability: Become Ted Williams when you play the Blue Jays
  2. Just blow this team up I can't take this s*** anymore
  3. omfg this makes me remember 2015 ALCS
  4. JD: lol I hit s***** BABIP hits even better than you guys Escobar and Gordon: Hold my beer
  5. If last year you told me that Smoak would have a 8 game hit streak at any point chances are I would have laughed in your face.
  6. JD taking a page out of the Royals book I love it.
  7. Obviously he isn't going have that much success with the bat, but I think DSJ is going to be around a 90-95 WRC+ in the majors with good speed and defense. I think that's valuable.
  8. Yes. But their style are totally different. Jorge only has power and can't field for s***
  9. This kid is so effing fast but there literally is no power in his swing.
  10. This year's Collabello award right now definitly goes to Ben Gamel of the Mariners. ,354 average fueled by a ridiculous ,471 BABIP. He strikes out a ton, has no homerun power and can't field. How much will he be capable of keeping that magic tho? edit: And I was already scared (kinda) of his potential BABIP outburst last year http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/6783-Explosion-GDT-(Game-3-3)-Toronto-Blue-Jays-Seattle-Mariners-(3-40-PM-ET)?p=1040135&highlight=gamel#post1040135
  11. 0.1 dwar this year he's not great obviously but it's not like he is bad either. And there is no way he keeps a ,145 BABIP. He is probably a ,180-,200 BABIP hitter with all of his but no one is that bad to bat a ,145 BABIP. No one. Also the Jays gave him away when he sucked. Take this year's OPS and last year's OPS, average it, and you've pretty much got what a sustainable Schimpf stats would be.
  12. 6 teams 1 game under ,500 at the same time in the AL wow. The 2nd wildcard race is hectic right now.
  13. To fix Blue Jays 2nd baseman problem why not target Ryan Schimpf? Padres put him in AAA and might be had for cheap. Has some serious pop and decent defense at 2nd. Getting BABIP f***ed since the start of the season too...
  14. Yo I go see the NHL awards show I come back and it's 6-0 Jays. Nice rally after 2 outs.
  15. It does happen often with every other teams gtfo.
  16. Pearce is just waking up. He is hitting everything.
