First part doesn't make a lot of sense to me imo, cuz if they gave up on him completely, they would have atleast tried to get rid of his salary cuz they can still sell that he will bounce back. In your opinion, the guy was so toxic that they jumped at the first chance to eat his salary and acquire a relative nobody in return (Sean Ratcliffe) just to be rid of him...From his interview and from everything else I've seen, seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Imo this looks like Atlanta had nothing to gain from keeping him or letting him go, he's 39 let him have a chance at winning.
He should be #4 in our BP behind Storen, Cecil, and Osuna.
In any case I don't understand why this would piss you off so much.
