Idk why people are losing it over the Yanks potentially acquiring Stanton. It's not like the Jays will be competing for the division within the next 3 years. They will be sending a package of legit prospects for him. If Shapiro rebuilds this team the right way, Stanton will be 34-35 years old when the time comes for us to compete. Hopefully out of his prime by then. Yanks farm system gets a whole lot weaker in the process.
