  1. Wow, my dick hurts after fapping to this news ten times in one day... Amazing trade we fleeced the a's.
  2. ugh....I wish this team was willing to really go all in like the redsox....... no wonder it is 21 years and counting.
  3. I keep seeing these excuses, sooner or later the jays need to be willing to take a chance and sign some player.....other teams do it and are successfull..maybe trust scouts. Id rather the team fail trying then not trying at all.
  4. Not sure why do you?? You seem like the type who cries and has a hissy fit when someones thought don't allign with yours...Many young pitchers struggle in there second year as the league adjusts....and yes dickey was inconsistent a lot and is 40.... It is a average staff that has to have everything break right, you guys are dilusional if you think we are a playoff team with that staff.
  5. Depth is not that impressive when we have a bunch of mid to back end rotation guys....Quality versus quantity....We have hutch, who was all over the place, we have no idea how stroman will do in his first full season, Dickey is inconsistent and 40, buerhle is a back in rotation guy now, and happ who is also a back end starter.....You will not win the series with this rotation. You cannot rely on everything breaking right, we might be able to squeeze in the playoffs with this rotation if everything goes right and the offense is good, big if, but then we have no shot at winning the entire thing. It is a very shaky rotation.
  6. We need a starter big time, what are the chances everything breaks right for this rotation full of question marks?
  7. I personally think there are better ways to upgrade the club then this.
  8. I am new, and for the most part people have been good so far, did get accused of being someone after my first post though, which I found odd, there are a lot of aggressive trolls here but as long as you don't get goaded in by there insults it's fine. The mods seem really laid back.
  9. Holy crap where are the mods? I'm new here and all I see are trolls, insults and arguments. Maybe try to take it to pm,'s?
  10. Cherry pick much? Jimenez has been average a long time...... No one expected him to be great. There are guts out there that are as close to a certain things going ad you can get.
  11. Huh? Who is trolling? Everytime there is a difference of opinion it is trolling? I think you need to step away from the keyboard for awhile ., or learn what trolling is.
  12. Rarely does everything work out, especially when it comes to Potential. Potential means not there yet.and I don't see sanchez or Norris being ready to be a starter. I never said it was terrible just too many question marks and not good enough to win it all. If we are relying on a first year starter, and 2 rookies who are unknowns, that kind of only proves my point.
  13. Obviously but odds are we won''t have enough pitching, but yes anything can happen. Heck we still need Outfield and 2b.
  14. We are not KC, and 1 example does not make a rule...This team won't sniff playoffs with this pitching staff. KC's also had one of baseballs best bullpens, we don't. Apples and oranges, oh and a guy named shields.
  15. A bunch of mid level starters and a couple question marks, that is not a rotation that will get a team to the playoffs.
  16. Yep, no serious winning team has a rotation with a bunch of question marks and a hope that certain players hit their ceiling fast, or even hit it at all.
  17. That is a bunch of ? and mediocrity, not a contending teams rotation. Sanchez is an unknown, hutch was inconsistent last year, Stroman is just coming into his first full year, the old dudes are back end rotation starters, not an area of strength at all. having a lot of arms doesn't mean much when most are average to below average, and the rest question marks. Contending teams don't win a "I hope these guys hit their ceiling" mentality.
  18. Your post just shows how badly we need a top of the rotation starter.....IF Stroman and Hutch hit their ceiling, that's a big if, Sanchez is a ways away from being a starter for a contending team...The old dudes are back end innings eaters. Stroman is coming into his first full year, Hutch was inconsistent last season, sanchez is an unknown. Sounds like a bunch of hopes and dreams, they don;t normally pan out.
  19. I am amazed how many think our rotation is fine...this team is not going anywhere with this rotation. A bunch of back end starters, and 2 young guys we don;t know how they will do, one going into his first full year. Need a major arm before I can seriously think this team has a realistic shot at the playoffs.
  20. I would LOVE for the jays to get lester, but sadly I cannot see it, cannot see AA outbidding anyone else, and cannot see Lester wanting to come here.
  21. I think we need a legit front end starter before this team has any shot. The outfield and Second base also need upgrades
