  1. Dickey deserves the win, he has pitched well a few games and had no run support.
  2. Total nonsense, the dodgers also have Greinke and KErshaw, why cherry pick Scott baker?. The stats simply do not support your argument. With stroman maybe we would be 24th instead of 30th in pitching..... Many teams including dodgers, cards lose an ace and still have a solid rotation, ours was shakey with stroman now it is embarassing.
  3. You quoted 2 different people...........
  4. I never downplayed stroman, it is a fact he has never pitched a full season. The stats speak volumes look at the dodgers and and cards rotations. even with one injury they have had good pitching, ours is in shambles...You said dodgers, they have grenke and Kershaw..so what exactly was your point? All you did was prove mine.
  5. No because they have other good arms and we don't lol. Stroman has started how many games? Has not got through an entire season, the rest are average to below average. That is hardly a good rotation. Again would require for everythign to go right, which it rarely does. The Cards have Wacha, Lynn besides wainwright.....either of those are better then anyone in our rotation. You're not exactly making your point well. The dodgers have kershaw and Greinke.....did you even think before posting? Those teams have exactly what i am talking about, depth in the rotation. Their staffs are better then ours even with those guys injured if we had stroman.
  6. It was still a weak rotation and bullpen with stroman....This is on AA. Injuries happen all the time. There was too much relying on everything going right for this to work, as usually. Poor planning. Way too many unproven arms, lack of depth in the pitching staff is All on AA.
  7. I don't think he is this bad but yeah I am not that high on him, I think some here over rate him.
  8. I don't agree starting was not an issue going into the season. Even with stroman it was not good enough. way too much reliance on guys who have not pitched an entire year in the MLB and aging vets on the decline. This team was not a serious contender with this staff.
  9. All that offensive talent is being wasted as are prime years from EE, Bautista, and now Donaldson. Amazing AA went into this season without improving the pitching. Frustrating is an understatement.
  10. The starters are a much bigger concern then bullpen.
  11. Well lets hope Delabar has found his 2013 form. Castor was not ready, hardly shocking considering he never pitched past a-ball.
  12. Not sure what GUYLAROCHES issue is, my posts have been very infrequent and all about baseball, then he trolls me for no reason? Look at my posts, nothing wrong there. Please shoe me where nay of my posts are out of line..... Dude got issues.
  13. Agree, it is not working. Very frustrating, the failure to not address the pitching this offseason doomed this season before it started. They have me wishing we had Happ.......never thought I would say that. If things don't improve as the season goes on it is time to trade bautista, and a few pieces and start over.
  14. Not sure if it is Martin, pete walker or the pitchers but they seem afraid to pitch inside.
  15. Meanwhile there were a bunch of players available in Free agency.
  16. This is as bad of pitching as the Jays have had for awhile. AA not improving it the offseason will cost him his job.
