Were talking about projections. Including one stint in the majors. -
Everyone knows prime baseball years are 26-28. So yes, when you're approaching those years it's definitely a strength. In particular when you're trying to project a players performance. How many Japanese stars are in the MLB has little to do with their talent pool.

Courtney Cox is a dog... you hit me right in the gut with this one. People sometimes compare people to animals too, because they have similar features, but in actuality they look nothing alike.

Tanaka is older and has established himself as a consistent great pitcher at the highest level (in the Japanese leagues). You don't need projections to quality him.

Fun thread. That's a pretty bad list but board is dead enough as it is... I for one appreciate any post/thread at this point, particularly if it's baseball related.

Eh. We're looking for a 1-2 year filler. At this point we just need to upgrade wherever/whenever we can. So just to be clear you'd rather have Ryan Goins or Maicer Izturis playing 2B every day?

The thing I love about Stroman is he really attacks hitters, at a minimum I think he'll continue to have major league success if he keeps that up.

She's not boney... she's fit. I guess some guys like a little chub, which is fine, but if you had to choose I'd choose fit.

I expect a little regression from his performance last season. Mainly due to hitters adjusting. Though with Martin behind the plate he may actually get better.

I don't know why people always take things so negatively... I love Stroman, I think he will do well... I just think the board is hyping him too much.
