  1. Hey everyone, been a while. Still alot of trolling here? If yes, at least everything is normal.
  2. Might as well have one day of stupidity. Even past the trolls I could see some pretty knowledgeable lurkers posting. If the numbers Snarls mentioned are accurate, it should be quite the event.
  3. I say get yer ya ya's out. Sounds like a good idea.
  4. Always happy to see Lind performing!!! Lind > Jeff Mathis........
  5. Edwin "The Emasculator" Encarnacion running that PC lol...
  6. Love watching sinker-ball pitchers. Im on Gameday soooo, can anyone tell me how Hendricks looks? Nice break to his pitches or what? Never seen him live.
  7. Right on Blue Jays! Even if we dont make it, good effort for the run boys. All I wanna see is good hustle. Maybe next year mix Hustle and Post-season.... We'll see.
  8. Congrats man I think ill be signing up for next year, everyone seems to have good things to say about it.
  9. I guess it would make you appreciate a good commentary since its all your left with sometimes. Buck and Pat leave something to be desired, I can hardly tell who's side they're on for the most part lol.
  10. Interesting, thx guys ive kinda been curious myself if its worth it or not.
  11. Maybe Jeff Mathis could fill the role, he's definitely one of the better pitchers we've had in a while.
  12. ^ Command is where its at. I think Janssen has earned to right to pitch himself out of the spot. If he really has a lengthy meltdown then fill it with whoever. Until that happens though id rather see him up in the 9th than some kid kid with a "good" fastball.
  13. Hey guys new to the site here. Im a pitcher myself in rec leagues, and have been a jays fan for some time now. Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on the disappearance of unique pitching deliveries. Kinda dissapointing in my opinion, always fun to watch something that breaks the stagnant mould of modern pitching. Within the jays, Loup comes to mind for obvious reasons. Janssen out of the stretch with his chin nods to home and slow, deliberate arm movements. Guzman and Stieb had a very whippy/slidy delivery. Speaking of Stieb, he was one of many in the 80's to defy the school of pitch counts and babysitting that rules pitching in the modern era. I understand the game has changed due to the evolution of science and health along with rules in the game, but I miss the abundance of unique pitchers around the league. Just a rant really.... B'rrrrring it back!!!
  14. Sad to say I think Sanchez has a good rep to fill the closing role. Im a HUGE fan of Janssen but he's been solid for longer than I expected, especially between injuries and surgeries. Maybe its time for a change, as long as I never have to see another Francisco/Santos in the role im happy.
