    I don't think so. Even with $140 mil payroll Rogers is likely making an economic profit of 50-60 Mil based on the sponsor revenue for jays broadcast

    To me this is actually a very good sign. It means that they aren't blindly trusting these clowns By the way Rogers bid over a billion dollars today for the bills who they plan on moving to Toronto in 2020

    Its possible. Over the last couple of years Rogers has brought in some big time names both on the NHL side and the NBA side So I wouldn't put it past them to have a decent MLB name in wings

    Exactly had this money been available in the JPR era, he would have made it count. Atleast BJ Ryan had one season as an absoloute MVP closer, which is more then we can say for the sad bunch he has acquired Reyes has just given up.

    Dont blame Rogers. They allowed the payroll to go to $140 Million since 2012. It was the fat greek that blew his load on Dickey Reyes and Bhurluwhateverthef*** Instead of signing Darvish.

    Problem is that AA is too stubborn. He thinks he is right on guys no matter. Rasmus is an example, he went to ridiculous lengths to pick him up. Mills being drafted was probably AA's work as well. He refuses to give up on guys, until he burns the major league club JPR put together some decent teams. The teams he put together in 2007/2008 would have won us the division this year, and the wild card in most years. He was unlucky in that Mcgowan fell apart and Marcum got hurt. Further he was unable to pick up Bonds, which would have taken this team over the top, due to Rogers/MLB

    he is a fringe guy, Unless he is throwing 5-6MPH better now, he will not last. AAA numbers really dont mean anything, just look at Liam Hendricks. Mills is garbage, and he will blow a game for the Jays before being DFAd. Ive seen this a million times over, same old song. 20 years of baseball Ive seen garbage pick up like these cost us games

    We saw him pitch. He can get away with those fastballs in Oakland. He will not get away with them at the band box that is Rogers Centre
