  1. It's me... Where's the baseball talk?
  2. Damn, predicting some filthy sinkers get by Thole and hitting the ump. Combined with bad framing, ump is not gonna give Sanchez any calls
  3. The new slide rule will benefit Travis big time, as turning DPs and not getting destroyed was a weakness of his
  4. Who do you guys all want to play instead? Can't hit a breaking ball Smoak?
  5. Do you guys hear this mechanical high pitched whine coming from the Sportsnet Jays broadcast?
  6. Maybe he can pinch run...
  7. Floyd is my 5th starter because he'll be the first injury and unavailable if pitching out of AAA. Sanchez starts in AAA and comes in when Floyd or someone else is injured. People talk about how Sanchez will have innings limit, what about Floyd? Hes thrown less innings in like 4 yrs combined than Sanchez last year??
  8. Does anyone think him not having a contract is weird? How does it work if he doesn't know he's coming back? Is he clearing at his desk right now and "backing up" scouting reports to take with him?
  9. I hope it's not Dickey Stroman today and price tommorow. His post season performance plus being on 5 days rest and whatever last night was don't sound good to me. Plus Stroman eats adversity and pressure for breakfast. Not to mention regular 4days rest
  10. Norris had said pretty much the same. That he wasn't told what to work on or any communication.
  11. Funny you mention the King vs Riggs match as an example. In her prime she beat someone way older that was 30 yrs removed from playing. In fact most thought she didn't even play well and if Riggs was fit he would've won. How did the Williams sisters do against any man ranked 200 below? Yes, that's as far as they dared challenge and they lost. In the sport I played competitively, any man ranked in the top 200 easily beat the top women and that is a fact, since in many tournaments men do play against women. I wouldn't even say this sport was one where muscle was a hugely deciding factor.
