What about Chase Utley from the Phils? He plays good defense at 2B and the Phils will most likely be sellers at the deadline. Plus he wouldn't cost too much, prospect wise (I would imagine) -

Just saw Murph's fielding stats, yup he's not really good. We already have to deal with Reyes' ******** at Short. -

What would Daniel Murphy cost us? His bat addition would bolster the lineup considerably. Yes, I can dream lol. -
Exactly, at this current rate, the AL East winner (whoever it will be), will probably get destroyed in the NLDS. Jays need a new bat and a new arm before trade dealine, and with Bautista and Lawrie back, they will be hard to beat.

Before the trade deadline, this team needs: 1- A bat to replace Lawrie that could also be helpful against lefties (Could also use this bat off the bench when Lawrie comes back) 2- #1 or 2 starter. I would love to have Dan Murphy on this team, I wonder what would the Mets want in exchange.

Man, Bautista and Lawrie out of the lineup is really starting to hurt us big time. We dealt with it pretty good in the series vs Yanks but it's catching up to us.
