    Sorry if this was already suggested but why not sign both Bautista and EE at the suspected low contract years/money we've been hearing? Try to make a decent line up until the trade deadline and move one of either EE or Morales. I'm sure the player we can get in return is worth more than the draft pick we would be missing out on.

    Why not do what they did with Sanchez in the minors and piggyback the outings. You can start Sanchez every 5 days let him go 3 innings and switch to Dickey. The velocity difference between them will throw off the batters. You control Sanchez's innings and perhaps make Dickey more effective? You still need a #5 starter and I don't know if that would be Hutch.

    We rolled the dice at the trade deadline for a Win Now mode. Why are we cheaping out now??? Why are we only a top 10 payroll when we just proved to ownership that 'if they build it we will come'? In a league where only 8 teams make it to the post-season i'd rather have a top 3-5 payroll and stay competitive with the 'big' players. Sorry.
