So I know a lot of the guys here with more knowledge then me are anti melky, they prefer to spend that money on say a hedley and akoi or trade for saunders. I get that but post Donaldson trade would you be willing to pay melky 40m or less on a three year deal? I may have a little bit of a bias but I think melky with his fitness could produce at around 3 war for 3 years. Am I crazy to prefer the slightly less optimal option financially for consistency and offense and sacrifice the runs on defense? whats is your optimal strategy for the blue jays to do for the rest of the off season with LF and 2B if you disagree.

I'm not going to say this is a good thing for they jays but at 26 per? I mean it takes them over the luxury tax and they have so many holes? It adds like 4 wins and then you take away headley and mccarthy and lose them all? I don't get it -
All AA has to do is give him a good smack and take thole away then give him a speech about how hes no longer in new york, Kinda like what brad pitt did with David justice
