Media is wrong AL East is not weak this year.

I think you're kinda right in saying its not weak. The reason media around the league is saying this really is because the Yankees and Red Sox aren't these power houses they usually expect them to be which makes the division look weak, I will say there is a lot more parity in the division that's for sure which just makes it look weaker than normal because the usual two teams people think of when you talk about the AL East haven't ran away with the division yet. -
