    OMG Haven't been around here in ages but the Donaldson acquisition was enough to get me out to join the party. After standing pat last year, AA has surpassed himself again. Dumps Lind contract, signs Martin, and now this. What's next? Melky contract? Allstar reliever or 2B for Navarro? Wow. Just wow.

    I just got back from the Skydome and I agree. The bullpen didn't seem to want to throw strikes and offense didn't seem to show any patience. This was a winnable game and we threw it away.

    Just got back from the SkyDome. Great game, Buehrle was dominant. Nice to see the Orioles lose at the Steinbrenner Center.

    Just got to finally watch what's left of this mess, but what's with the hospital orderly uniforms they're wearing? My gawd they're ugly. As if the white caps weren't bad enough, they had to pollute them with red bills. Don't they understand that red is the anti-Bluejay color, the color of the enemy? I prefer the original logo over the present one because it has less red. Of course it's just a cheesy attempt by Rogers to inflict their corporate color on the team, similar to when they tried desperately to drop the word "Blue" from the team's name. Pathetic. **end rant**

    Indeed, I was talking about his game and associated arrogance as evidenced by his tweets and interviews like this. I certainly have nothing against his community functions, whether they stem from his own desire to help or come from the organization.

    Say what you want about Cito Gaston but at least he seemed to realize that Jonathan Arencibia is a worthless, steaming, fly-infested pile of s***. Unfortunately, the Jays' brain trust thought maybe sitting in a MLB dugout would teach him something. He should have been sent down all the way to instructional league to learn to grow up.

    Thanx for posting that. That was what I was referring to in my previous post. Fernandez was 6 feet from the bag when Madlock went out of his way to injure him. Infante was right on the bag.

    It was a brilliant slide, right on the basepath, unlike the dirty little slide that they used to take out Tony Fernandez years ago, which was 6 feet off the baseline. Karma's a bitch, aint it? Infante wasn't paying attention and Rasmus did his job. This is hardball, not a softball game like hopscotch, soccer, basketball or tiddly winks.
