    The mistake here was switching Kawasaki for Valencia. Having said that, the only reason you would have Kawasaki playing is if you needed a defensive replacement which means Kawasaki is better than Valencia. Personally i would prefer to keep Kawasaki in the minors and leave Valencia on the bench.

    If Dickey continues his roll until the end of the season, he's coming back. MB will probably be given a QO, so either he retires or he comes back. Price already said he wants to see what's out there, i can only assume it means he will give us a though only if we are in the same ball park as the other offers he gets, but i don't see Rogers writing a cheque for 200M.

    Smoak at 1B has +1.1 UZR and +1 DRS. Colabelo at 1B has -0.8 UZR and -4 DRS. So even though Smoak is better, it's not a huge difference. Colabelo is horrible in the outfield, not so much on first base.

    So his ERA is now up to 1.7, bummer.

    He's on 1.7M this year, about 40% left so that's about 700k. Can that be such an issue? They took on about 7.5M when they brought in Price. They saved about 2M on Reyes or ~800k for the remainder of the season. I guess it's possible they had a strict budget to stick to.

    First time he been playing on the turf, just played 3 games, so they want him to adjust. I don't see that as being an issue to be honest.

    Valencia is surprising. To be honest i thought they would keep Kawasaki down and keep Valenvia as the bench infielder.

    According to Fangraphs he has been alright in CF and LF and awful in RF.

    I think Kohlrabi been pretty decent at 1B, probably better than Edwin but not better than Smoak.
