    When your starters give you 7 innings most of the time and Sanchez and Osuna are your 8th and 9th inning guys, there needs to be a special situation for others to be brought in. Clearly this was one of those situations but i guess Gibby didn't feel that way.

    It's not like Sanchez was throwing beach balls or anything... I didn't like that Price came out to pitch the 8th after he struggled the whole game and I didn't like that they let Sanchez pitch in the middle of an inning with runners on, I thought Lowe was the better option but then again, Gibby tries to establish that Sanchez is the 8th inning guy...

    Yes but Lymphoma is a very aggressive type of cancer. My driving instructor had it and gone through rounds of chemo and after X amount of months they told him he was cancer free. Less than a month later he died from it.

    Were there ever a situation where a player played for both world series teams in the same year? Meaning he's going to get a ring no matter which team wins? That would be funny.

    Can't believe we aren't playing against Gray. Maybe Beane wants to return the favor for giving him so many players this year.

    You guys need to quantify Donaldson's clubhouse chemistry, for sure that's worth more than 0.3 WAR. The one other problem is going to be Donaldson's salary next season. It's going to jump to over 10M. And that's only the second arbitration. If we don't sign him long term, we are screwed.
