  1. He's no Chapman but he's a starter (then again so was he). Features a fastball that can touch 94-95 and a good breaking ball, which I'm tempted to say is a slider but it could be just a fast curve. He was one of the top (in other words, the only capable) starters in Cuban Baseball.
  2. Reyes (3pts) - Jonn, Orgfiller Melkman (3pts) - Spanky99, baseballsss Eddy (1pt) -bowld, Gen.Disarray, GD Navarro (5pts) - G-Snarls, vdub Tolleson (7pts) - Gose (8pts) - Kawasaki (12pts!) - Glenn (7pts) - Dylan, o2cui2i Thole (9pts) -

The 21-year old posted a 153 wRC+ with an 11% walk rate and 17.7% strikeout rate in 317 PA for the Blue Jays' A+ affiliate in Dunedin. He was recently chosen to represent the Blue Jays at the upcoming Futures Game during Major League Baseball's All-Star break. Blue Jays draft pick Sean Reid-Foley made his debut today for the GCL Blue Jays. The Blue Jays selected Reid-Foley with the 49th overall pick in this year's MLB First-Year Player Draft, he later signed for a slot value of $1.128MM For more detailed information on Blue Jays minor league affiliates and prospects, be sure to check out King's daily MiLB recaps, as well as the board's The Prospect/Minor Leagues Thread Venue: http://i.imgur.com/OyTOcZb.png Unsure of some of the statistics posted? 4. LOL @ taking away a great year just because it's "his career year." He has a great career walk rate, doesn't K much, and plays excellent defense. Career 113 wRC+ is not too shabby either considering the value he adds with his glove. He has not been awful in a long time.
  5. "Has not played well the past couple of years" 2012: 145 wRC+, 7.2 WAR 2013: 113 wRC+, 3.5 WAR 2014: 79 wRC+, 0.7 Aside from this season, in which he's getting pretty unlucky, care to explain how that constitutes "not playing well?"
  6. He's getting really unlucky this year, although his walk rate has dropped a little. Would be a great pickup if he doesn't cost much.
  7. This is what I was thinking lol. Not exactly top 100's going head to head tonight...
  8. Thanks, I know not everyday something happens lol.
  9. Hey King, since there wasn't an MiLB recap today, could you tell me any news regarding our prospects that should be included in the GDT? And don't worry about Pompey I'll add him in for sure.
  10. Here's our pick's DraftExpress Page with video. It says his wingspan is N/A but he looks like he has really long arms. http://www.draftexpress.com/video/11508/
  11. So um guys, did anyone notice the guy who posted the tweet's current jobs? 95.7 The Game radio host, Bleacher Report NBA columnist, Comcast/NBC NBA analyst and sideline reporter.
  12. FWIW, I saw this on some other basketball message board I sometimes visit. Brett Poirier NBA ‏@BrettNBA 2m A Kyle Lowry sign-and-trade to Miami and a possible Chris Bosh return to Toronto will not happen, sources say.
  13. So what's so bad about Cleanthony Early? And dat name lol.
  14. That would be good but I think the reasoning behind the tweet was that Lowry was to be traded for Bosh, and if so they can GTFO.
  15. How old is he now? I never hated him for leaving or anything but I'm afraid that being the third wheel in Miami has turned him soft, way too many 3 point shots and he's never been a good defender.
  16. If we're doing a Sign & Trade it better not be for f***ing Bosh, Lowry is the guy that runs this offense, if we trade him we better get something much better.
  17. Ewww
  18. Lol @ the baseball reference.
  19. The one he dropped was probably a routine fly out for 90% of the league.
  20. He was clearly safe, not even close, it was ovious Tolleson's foot was on the bag before the ball touched Abreu's glove.
