Agreed. Last game their ball movement was fantastic and it all went to s*** once they started taking hero shots and eliminating the post game completely. This game started the same, hopefully the ending is different.

Losing d'Arnaud wouldn't have been that painful if we already had a good catcher. Favouring JP over him though...we then ran out replacement level catchers for consecutive years.

Yes. After looking great on the offensive end for 3 quarters with good ball movement, a combination of inside scoring (led by JV and Amir) and perimeter shooting, they looked like garbage in the 4th. JV disappeared as usual, and it was 3 point brick after 3 point brick. Near the end DD made some tough And1 shots which were key. Amir and a bit of DD carried the team in OT, shaky rebounding but they got it done.

I'll get shitted on for this, but DD played some great basketball. Made some BIG shots when we needed them. Amir and JV were both absolute monsters, although of course the latter as usual didn't play in the last 12 minutes of play.
