For the person who asked, Martin's average jumped from .042 to .111, wRC+ jumped from 8 to 86 lol. Donaldson's wRC+ went from an even 100 to 137. -
He put what he believes is his best reliever in an attempt preserve a manageable 1-run deficit. Gibbons did nothing wrong at all here.
