  1. Obviously, we're all heartbroken that our Blue Jays couldn't make it through to the WS, struggling mightily in the hitting department. But, no real fan of this sport can come away from this without giving an immense amount of credit to the opposing team. The Indians' pitching was absurd, their defense rock solid, their hitting timely and powerful when it was most necessary. Huge credit to the studs that are Francisco Lindor, Jason Kipnis, Carlos Santana, Corey Kluber, Cody Allen, and of course no one can forget about Andrew f***ing Miller. What a series this last guy had, as dominant of a performance as any of us have ever witnessed in one postseason series. Of course these guys were just the headliners, but they got key contributions from the entire team, from Perez's fantastic game calling and framing, to the pitching staff who executed almost every pitch to perfection, completely baffling Blue Jays hitters. This team hasn't hoisted the big trophy since 1948, here's to them having a fantastic WS clash against any of the two NL teams remaining. The team is simply full of likeable players, not excluding Terry Francona. Congrats and good luck in the next round. Good season boys.
  2. Nope. Pillar has very little trade value (at least not as much as we think he should) because teams just haven't shown to pay market value for defense, maybe the Jason Heyward contract being a very single exception.
  3. Lmao, we're going to need some quotes here.
  4. Everyone knows that Drake is a bandwagon groupie. Nothing to see here.
  5. I still think it can get much, much worse than Gibby. Someone like Francona would be amazing though.
  6. KingKat can we get a 12 hour ban for jaysfan2014? I usually just completely ignore his posts as they're generally just harmless homerism, but it's getting way too far tonight.
  7. This will just make the 4 consecutive win comeback that much sweeter.
  8. Lol nope
  9. Are you serious? Have you seen some of the swings against him in these playoffs? Most of them start out as strikes and it just dips down and/or sideways to where it's unhittable.
  10. I mean... it's Andrew Miller out there. Not much he can do there lol.
  11. Lmao, attaboy Navarro.
  12. Or Upton for Goins, if it gets to that point, hopefully it does.
  13. Osuna's been a total stud for us these playoffs. He's probably gassed at this point but he just brings it every time even when he's not at his sharpest.
  14. What the f*** is Ripken going on about? This run on contact BS that he's spouting is incredibly stupid.
  15. His voice/accent makes up for it.
  16. Lol @ Britton being likely top 2 in Cy Young voting when Andrew Miller had the season that he had.
  17. I'm pretty disappointed with the team, but what do you want me to do? Slander the other team who's clearly playing better than us? I'm not going to do that because as a baseball fan I recognize when a team is playing great baseball as opposed to getting by on ridiculous BABIP luck.
  18. K but y u mad tho?
  19. Um, no, not at all. Cleveland has easily been the better team, they are playing outstanding baseball right now. No fluky hits at all, just phenomenal pitching combined with rock solid defense and power hitting when it counts.
  20. They are literally better at every position. Maybe healthy Gordon and Cain are better but that's pretty much it. Even with their bullpen, no one can hold a candle to Andrew Miller. Okay I forgot Salvador Perez. But he's overrated anyway.
  21. You mean except for the part where they're much better right?
  22. It's simply nasty, I think in terms of raw speed and movement they're similar. Kenley's is just much more explosive.
  23. Shaw's cutter is pure filth. 96 with that movement is so nasty, Kenley Jansen level.
  24. Lmao I'll f***ing take it.
  25. While you wouldn't want to face Kluber twice, him pitching on short rest gives us a slight advantage over him pitching on more rest for Game 5. I think choosing between two starts of a tired Kluber and one rested one is not as clear cut as it might seem. We just need Andrew Miller to stop getting into games.
