  1. Freddie Freeman is very good.
  2. He's been excellent this season in all three of his starts. I'm rooting for him now that he's away from the Orioles, and god knows the Angels could use him healthy and pitching to his potential.
  3. The broadcast just confirmed that Teoscar is sitting this one out due to dumn. "Splits"
  4. Ohtani homers opposite field in his first AB since being declared done for the year pitching wise.
  5. Where is Teoscar?
  6. Or he gets into better shape and becomes even faster! Wow, it goes both ways!
  7. If we're looking at Yankees failures Sonny Gray is an obvious candidate. They completely misused him, ended up moving him for pennies on the dollar and he pretty much immediately became an ace on the Reds.
  8. Luisangel Acuña, SS - TEX.
  9. Some pitchers also throw a slow curveball like Greinke which he throws with some frequency usually around 68-72 mph.
  10. How loopy are we talking about here? According to baseballsavant he's thrown a knuckle curve for 18 pitches of his pitches, roughly about the same frequency as the fastball, and it's averaged 79 mph, as low as 77. From watching Stripling before he usually throws his fastball around 90-92 with his knuckle curve around high 70s and will mix in one or two other secondaries.
  11. Romano might be legit good.
  12. The ball does not carry in this ballpark at all.
  13. Well that's the best Borucki has ever looked.
  14. Great pitch to retire Freeman.
  15. Duvall gave that a ride.
  16. That was a nasty fastball with some crazy run at 96.
  17. Probably a set pitch count. I'd have to imagine it was the FO's call.
  18. Hatch's stuff very much plays at this level.
  19. Look I hate taking Ryu out as much as the next guy but who knows if our high performance department had a set pitch count on Ryu and most of our starters early in the season with the lack of real game action after months of layoffs, plus considering Ryu's injury history. At least Montoyo went to Hatch and not a brutal reliever.
  20. Josh Tomlin can seriously f*** off lol.
  21. What? For one Ryu's fastball hasn't been less than 89 all game and he has like 4 plus pitches so it's no wonder if Culberson, like every other hitter has looked foolish on one of them.
  22. That changeup is carving up the Braves lineup.
  23. Josh Tomlin is historically our father. I still have nightmares about him shutting our potent offense down in the 2016 ALCS with nothing but junk on the outside corners.
  24. Excellent sequence, gotta love the team taking advantage of a relative gift considering Inciarte is normally a lock to make that play.
