  1. If I create my own luck, does that mean that if I try really hard I can win the lottery no problem?
  2. I guess I just have to get the point across. Dear theblujay, I appreciate your comments regarding the topic at hand. I wouldn't say that the Toronto Blue Jays would have won against the Tampa Bay Rays in the game where Brandon John Morrow was the starting pitcher. My thoughts are equal in this first game against the New York Yankees that saw Dustin Michael McGowan as the starter for the Toronto team. However, I have stated that the opposing team did get a lot of very weak hits against the Jays' hurler, not reflecting on his true ability as such nor does it reflect on the outfield defense. Kind regards, Orgfiller.
  3. Except that what Gose makes up in defense he loses badly on offense.
  4. Ok, here's a quote that clearly demonstrates John's thoughts on Rasmus' position: "When will they realize Rasmus isn't a CF hes a LF." "Hes an average CF would be really good in LF" oh look another.
  5. We might agree to disagree here, but Rasmus most definitely covers a lot of ground, of course other CF's make more plays, he's not Bourjous. And re: the positional value thing, it's basically providing the same offense at LF, a less valuable position, or at CF, a more valuable one, not that hard to comprehend.
  6. Find a quote where anyone implies that we should be winning today or should have won yesterday, DO IT.
  7. You should become a book critic, such good interpretation and reading comprehension! /awful joke.
  8. And we thought Delabar's biggest health risk was his elbow!
  9. Alright Maddon, enlighten us as to why Rasmus is an "average" CF and why he would suddenly become above average in LF (which, bee tee dubs, has far less positional value).
  10. I'm sorry, were they supposed to stand 10 ft behind the SS?
  11. See: BABIP. That doesn't mean the outfielders have been bad...
  12. Rasmus didn't do anything particularly wrong there, he threw it on the money to Goins, who missed pretty badly on a throw to 3rd that would have gotten KJ out.
  13. Ichiro's gonna chop it over somebody's head, it's happening.
  14. Why can't we have nice bloop singles like the Yankees?
  15. There's this guy on TV hurling a sphere at other guys with sticks. Maybe we should talk about that?!
  16. http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/6-NHL-Thread/page208
  17. Gibbons probably offered the fan season tickets before the game if he could streak when the sign was given. Crafty!
  18. Guys, it's cool and all that we all love the Raptors and the Canucksut, but can we please move the non-baseball talk elsewhere for now
  19. That post surely didn't scream reactionary at all...and I like the Raptors too, but if you guys are sick of watching the Jays then go ahead, leave, no one is forcing you to be here.
  20. It's the 6th inning, 2 run ballgame, and Tanaka hasn't looked that good, please shut the f*** up.
  21. Buck please stop mentioning that Goins is a former SS, it doesn't justify anything or make him look any better.
  22. Can the Yankees pls hit something to our defenders? My god we cannot catch a break.
