    You can't always control weak contact, and it's far safer to K a guy in terms of them not reaching base (assuming the catcher might f*** up) than to allow a groundball or bloop which might drop in.

    It's pretty damn important to get swings and misses, allowing contact leads to bad luck, unless you can successfully induce many groundballs.
