  1. Hit by pitches aren't exactly productive if your goal is that later in the game that one batter will back off.
  2. Lol I'm just messing with you, I don't really watch club soccer (or football if you prefer), it just seemed like an odd place to post it.
  3. It sort of makes sense, because assuming both the runner and the ball arrive at the same it's almost like the runner beat the ball. It's 50/50 so I guess according to replay rules a call that close would always stand with the ump's original one.
  4. Thole has some serious wheels for a catcher. Great rip RA!
  5. Lmao Buck just said the same thing, great timing with that post.
  6. Oh my god, every time the opposing team reviews it hurts us, FFS.
  7. f***ing PNC!! Cost me points in the homerun contest *shakes fist*
  8. So completely blocking the plate is the issue? Can someone tweet this out and see if anyone knows whether that was legal or not?
  9. But it keeps the tradishun hur durr!! In reel basebol picturez hit!!
  10. I don't really know a lot about it but aren't you allowed to somewhat block the plate once the catcher has the baseball?
  11. Thole's BABIP will not subside. Terrible call to send him wtf?
  12. Baseball coaches everywhere: "And that kids, is why you run on a dropped third strike"
  13. I know, but I'd still rather go with the better matchup, Thole's not going to keep up his current hitting and starting him against a tough lefty isn't going to delay that.
  14. Why would you put Thole against a tough lefty when you have a (much better) right-handed catcher? Oh right, personal catcher...
  15. And he would have been an idiot not to considering that Marmol put up season of 1.7, 1.4 and 2.8 WAR. And guess what, he had ERA's of 1.43 in 2007, 2.68 in 2008, and 2.55 in 2010, however his xFIP's those years were 3.55, 3.66 and then his best season (2010) 2.83.
  16. I don't think I've ever seen someone get that far off the ground on a diving play, crazy! A bit OT but I hate how the US uses aluminum bats, how does that in any way help the players out? Scouts will always be a bit skeptical when evaluating power when the players get an easy boost.
  17. Yankees being gifted a second chance after McCann strikes out, ends up striking out the second time.
