I agree for the most part, I wouldn't call him the worst defensive catcher in the league (considering that he's probably playing hurt) but the rest is all true. He isn't helping our pitchers out at all with his framing and his blocking is also sub-par. It it ridiculous that on more than one occasion we've run him out there with the FAR superior defensive catcher in Kratz at DH. I don't know who's calling the shots but it really needs to stop, at the very least put Thole behind the plate who appears to have sold his soul to the BABIP gods.

Lol it's been a crazy year for Frenchy. The form looks pretty ugly but he probably has good speed, I wonder if anyone has got a read from a gun.

I'm just saying, he hasn't been good obviously because there haven't been many swings and misses, but you can't fault the guy for bad defense and everything dropping in. Like you said at least he isn't walking the park.
