    I'm getting ahead of myself but does anyone who we play if we end up with the best record in the league, the Yankees win the WC game, and end up having a better record than the AL West division winner? Do we play the Yankees or the AL West winner?

    I don't think anybody literally hates any player. But Hutch stinks. End of story. It's August and this guy still has a 5.40 ERA.

    Our pythagorean W-L record is 43-26. Bittersweet because that shows how good our record should while in reality we're still clawing away in 3rd place. This has to be the last time Cecil gets the ball as a closer. Given up runs in 4 of his last 5 appearances and almost blew another one tonight. The AL East isn't a joke anymore and we can't waste more wins, especially against a division rival, on s***** pitching. If this is a closer by committee, let's ride the hot hand (Delabar) into first. How good would this team be if we just had some decent starters.

    0-4, 4 K's, all 4 K's on 3 pitches. I can totally imagine that debacle in my head. Donaldson could start 0-20 and I'd still be happy with the trade. So glad he's outta here.

    He's got 2 phenomenal pitches and a shaky 3rd pitch. In my opinion this correlates perfectly with him turning into a stud closer someday. His size, demeanor, all of it fit right in with the closer role. Not saying he shouldn't have a chance to become a starter (he'll definitely get the opportunity). but I can totally see him lighting s*** up in the 9th inning for years to come.

    Side note if any of you guys have a Twitter or Instagram follow Stroman and Sanchez. These guys have a very amusing bromance going on and it's been awesome following their journey to the big leagues and seeing how they've succeeded. Made me an instant mega-fan of both these guys, as if I wasn't already.
