    Well... the Jays know the numbers better then we do. That seems like a fair price to me, especially considering he only made 1 million last year.

    You need Smoak on the team. You can't trust CC to give you half of what he gave you last year, he's not that good of a baseball player. You want EE to be the DH, 1st base as a last resort.

    Well Storen is making 5.7M in his final year of arb, I don't see Storen being 2M better then Cecil in the big picture.

    I agree, you also don't want KC/Houston/YANKEES to get Price. The season most likely turns out dramatically different if we don't overpay a bit to get the top dog on the market in Price.

    Shapiro keeps all his specs, he doesn't know when to trade them because he's not good at evaluating talent.

    Didn't Shapiro hire Antonetti. Obviously Anto isn't going to talk s*** about him...I did however see a glare in Shapiro's eyes when AA's name and heroism was brought up.

    Probably could care less if the money is good. Plus he obviously likes those guys, whereas there was definite friction between him and Shapiro.
