Sure he is young, label me a Smoral pessimist. just think one of our million dollar babies has to bust. I don't think any of our high school draftees have started off in lansing 1 year after their draft. Just the way our HS draftees are babied, it's really more of an organizational philosophy than an indication for prospect's potential/ability.

Keeping him in the lower level is something I wouldn't disagree with. Because I think he is actually showing promise unlike Smoral (sigh...). Another fact I m seeing in him is that he has lots extra bases, which would indicate good hands, so as long as he can train his eyes, he'd be good? It seems the dig on Gose is that he has good eyes but no approach.

Oh yeah, a little stats watching: To my calculation, Daniel Norris pitched to 1.27 ERA in his last 8 (scattered) starts. Woohoo.

Look, as a million dollar baby, we really hope he can pitch jsut like advertised. But early results have shown otherwise. We all hope he can figure it out, but at the same time I feel he is getting more credits because of his draft signing bonus. PS: I m not saying he is bust, but I am cautiously optimistic.

is Gabryszwski considered a GOOD prospect? Just going by stats, he is doing everything except striking ppl out.

Lol you are askign too much. In the long run, 2 unearned runs won't be telling of his performance. Heck you can even argue stats isn't directly correlated with performance.

I have a hunch that all these savings from round 3-10 would barely be enough for the extra amount bickford is demanding. With 2nd rd signing for full slot, I think we won't be getting either Brentz or Tellez. Just a hunch. -

On what merit is Gibbons nominated for allstar bench coach? Sure team underperformance isn't really his fault but I don't see that as the reason he is going to allstar game.

I really thought Gabrysdsioudasfasd could have started the season in Lansing. His number (except K's) in Bluefield was way better than Norris's and Norris only got to Lansing cuz he signed for more...
