No, you're seeing an imaginary picture. Sanchez is raw and rough and has many, many warts... But he's young with a power arm and can hold down the fort in the #5 spot for the time being. I'd much rather Stroman was in the rotation, and Sanchez was bumped to the pen (or, in a perfect world, starting in AAA), but for the time being, he's not the worst we could be throwing out there at the back of the rotation. -

More likely that he forgot what inning it was. He'll probably call for a few extra bunts in the 2nd inning to make up for it...

Not a great night, but he got the job done. And he showed a few innings of like "wow, that's awesome" potential. So take it for now.

I don't think they'd get away with this kind of rule breaking, they're not the Yankees... Edit: Wait... Now that I think about it... Is that allowed? I know if you move a DH to the field, you lose the DH, but can you move a fielder to DH when you bring in a defensive replacement? I don't think I've ever seen it done, but I don't know if it's specifically forbidden...

Because we don't feel the need to start a new thread about every thought that pops into our heads here. For Orioles' fans, having a thought pop into their heads is a threadworthy event.
