  1. I'm not complaining about ticket pricing, and I complain about (late stage) capitalism all the time.
  2. I absolutely love Zachary Levi, so I'm admittedly biased as f*** on this one.
  3. And now that the X-Men (and Deadpool!) can be in the MCU it could get even cooler (as long as they don't cancel the X-Factor movie). Also, too, Shazam is by far my favourite DC movie so far, see it. Yes, I enjoyed it even more than Wonder Woman, which was also excellent.
  4. Hey, not everyone likes fun, I get it.
  5. Bud and Bud Light. I believe it's draft.
  6. The beer they have at $5 doesn't count as beer, spend the extra money and don't make your tastebuds suffer like that.
  7. Unless I miscounted, there's currently 39 on the 40 man roster (according to mlb.com), and Shoemaker hasn't been moved to the 60 day as of yet, so the 40 man won't be an issue.
  8. What is this nonsense? Vladdy doesn't K.
  9. 1.000/1.000/4.000/5.000 for his entire career. That includes his first month or so.
  10. Y'know, I have really liked everything I've seen of his... You're right, very dated (like the early Eddie Murphy stuff), but sharp as a f***in' tack. I should check out more of is stuff. Same deal with Hedberg, died way too young with so much promise.
  11. Oh god that's such a good movie. I've seen it dozens of times and that clip still made me laugh.
  12. You know that when I asked if you lived under a rock because you didn't know who Louis CK was, it wasn't anything at all to do with Russell Peters, right? And I mean, Dane Cook was one of the highest grossing comedians at one point, as was/is that puppet ******* whose name I'm going to hope I never remember... That doesn't mean they're good or relevant. Louis CK was a big f***ing deal in comedy for a LONG time, and even though he may not have brought in numbers as high as Russell Peters, he was more famous.
  13. I'm down for that any goddamn day of the week! I love that flick!
  14. I mean, he was one of the biggest stand-up comedians in the world for almost a decade before that happened. He's really gone downhill since then 'cause he's trying to be all edgy to prove that what he did wasn't so bad, but he used to be f***ing fantastic. Do you live under a rock? Eddie Murphy's early stuff = fantastic. Raw and Delirious are two of the best stand up specials of all time.
  15. Norm has always been one of my faves. I own Dirty Work and consider it one of the masterpieces of the comedy genre.
  16. See, the way the way the word myriad works is that you should have said "it seem you have myriad companies". I love that word 'cause it is used in a way that feels very out of place, but that is the correct usage.
  17. Oh god. No. Just... Oh stop this.
  18. That is a f***ing awesome top 5. I would throw Mitch Hedberg (my absolute favourite) Emo Phillips, and maybe Iliza Shlesinger onto that list, but those are all top-f***ing-notch.
  19. I'm not sure that the Leafs could draw 100K people 41 games a year. Really don't think that's doable. I mean, if they sold 75K tickets for $5 each, sure, but...
  20. Self deprecating humour is sorta my jam, and I appreciate it when you roll that way too
  21. I like my band too, actually, but we're not everyone's thing and that's cool too. Myriad is my company (Myriad Records is the company we release albums under, Myriad Music is the company we promote shows under...)
  22. Honestly? Nope. Part of what makes the draw so special is that there are so few tickets. If they played in a 100K seat arena, it'd be empty as f*** for 75% of their games.
  23. Yeah, but I'm apparently a "promoter" now, so I have to book and promote shows that aren't my band. But yes, THIS SATURDAY! AT THE GENERAL PUB AND GRILL IN OSHAWA! COME SEE THREE f***ING AWESOME BANDS! ALSO, TOO, SATURDAY MAY 25th COME SEE MY BAND AND TWO AWESOME BANDS (see the joke there is that my band isn't awesome, hilarious, right?)
  24. Your apex of comedy is Russell Peters? I mean, he's alright, but he's who you think of when you think "GUY WHO IS AMAZING AT COMEDY"?
  25. Which is almost twice what the Leafs draw on their best days, 'cause their tiny arena can't handle big crowds
