  1. No love for Dean in the top 20? I know Nay is going higher because he is playing 3rd and they moved Dean to 1st but they have almost identical numbers and from most things I've read Dean is still athletic enough to play 3rd but you can't your 2 best players at the same position everyday.
  2. I cant wait for the season ending top 20 prospect list. Whoever puts that list together is going to have to do some serious shuffling. Jacob Anderson, Griffin Murphy and the dissapearing act of Adonys Cordona need to go. I know Cordona is young but what happened to him? 1. Sanchez (wish it was Syndergaard) 2. Osuna 3. Stroman 4. Norris (putting it together thank god!) 5. Nolin 6. Davis 7. Jimenez 8. Nay 9. Dean 10. Hollon 11. Barreto 12. Pillar 13. Burns 14. Stilson (has the stuff but a relief pitcher) 15. Tirado 16. Robson 17. Smith Jr 18. Dejong 19. Lopes 20. Alford (here for skill set but you have to actually play baseball to be a prospect) honorable mention Lugo, Labourt, Gomez, Nessy, Pompey, Smoral
  3. McGuire with a steller outing today. I personally gave up on this guy thinking his ceiling is AAA and maybe filling in as an occasional injury relief. Anyone think this guy can put it together and be a inning eating 4/5
  4. JPA YOU SUCK!!! Absolutely perfect throw by Goins and you catch it 5 feet in front home plate YOU IDIOT, YOU f***ING SUCK. I HATE you and your 20 homeruns and fans that think your good because of them!
  5. Bluefield is unreal Nay, Dean, Lugo, Barreto, Davis and sleeper Saez hitting the crap outta the ball and a pitching staff of Labourt, Dejong, Wasilewski, Dragmire and Dawson even the relief pitchers are unhittable. It will be interesting to see who skips Vancouver next year and goes straight to full season! All this with Robson already moving up and dominating with the Canadians.
  6. seriously though whats the scoop on sanchez? obviously he is hurt any updates?
  7. how is Anderson even mentioned when these lists are made?
  8. So starting off the year we had one of the top 5 rotations on paper, with probably the least amount of quality depth starters in the minors. A lot of injuries exposed this lack of depth with us having guys like Redmond+++ getting 5 starts. Now my question is regarding next year when we will have an extensive amount of depth but they will be prospects not 15 year mlb vets that can't cut it anymore. What are the options looking like? Now that these pitchers will require options to go up and down and were not putting unwanted old guys through waivers what are their status' Starters Dickey Johnson (assuming he takes the QO) Buerhle Morrow Happ Depth Options? Drebek Hutchinson Nolin Stroman Sanchez Oh my god doesn't the looks of that just make you hate all the tommy john last year. For how raped and piledged our farm is that is a lot of near ready mlb talent right their
  9. As well looks like Ricky might be taking the Cecil route to lefty bullpen guy if he can make it through the winter.
  10. If Davis has value at the deadline to be a 4th outfielder speed guy for a contending team amd you could package him with a reliever for a decent return then I think that Pillar/Gose could fill that spot next year on the cheap.
  11. Relievers under contract next year: 1.Janssen 2.Delebar 3.Cecil 4.Loup 5.Wagner 6.Perez 7.Lincoln 8.Santos 9.Mcgowen 10.Rogers With Stilson, Stroman, Carrano and possibly Farina being MLB ready or depth ready and a UFA market full of 6/7 bullpen guys how do you not move at least 2 of these guys and get some catching 2nd and 3rd depth in the high A-AA range. Braves would like to add a reliever would they consider moving AA catcher Christian Bethancourt for the likes of Janssen? St Louis is looking to add one more arm to their bullpen and Carpenter butting up insane numbers at 2nd and proving last year wasn't a fluke what would it take to pry Kolten Wong from them? Janssen or Delebar and maybe a piece like Christian Lopez/Nolin
  12. When Reyes is back Melky can hit in the 5 hole and just make contact and he wont have to worry about running because Lind will be in front of him
  13. I have Osuna over Sanchez too! although I think Osuna gets TJS once before he makes the show so his arrival time is delayed
