Are you referring to hyperbaric oxygen therapy? There haven't been enough randomized control trials to support or refute the use of them (on fractures; there is decent evidence for their use in ulcers), however there are lots of anecdotal evidence that they may work. I'm not sure it'd cut healing time in half, but the theory is delivering oxygen at higher pressures will result in more oxygen delivered to the site of injury. I'm no sports rehabilitation doctor, but every injury and every fracture is different and results and healing time will vary. I didn't catch the presses, but from what I read they hope he'll be back in 2-3 weeks. That really doesn't mean much to me.
If I was Tulo, I'd do that hyperbaric thing. It's quite safe anyways, so what's the harm
