We are stuck with im, his location has been the issue, many pitches over the heart of the plate, falling behind. A guy like buerhle lives and dies with his control, he has to be on the corners. His FB is the same as last year, so its not velocity, you dont need to throw 95 MPH to win at this level. -
totally agree, i think Dickey will be good, but the rest? I cannot see them getting good enough to win enough games with this hole to make a run, the pitching has been bad, and JJ is now out for a month, and he should be our best pitcher. I still have hope for this team but it's a tough hill to climb with this pitching staff.

They have no choice at this point, they dug themself such a hole they have little margin for error. The pitching is not good enough yet, not even close.

Yeah this has been an issue for him and a few of our hitters. Swinging at bad pitches.

It's depressing how almost all of our new players have underwhelmed, except reyes and he got injured, just our luck -

Sigh, this team cannot have 1 season with a pitcher injury? JJ can be the best on this staff and one of the best in baseball, we need him to get on track if there is any chance of a turn around. The pitching continues to be a major worry. -
He needs to be more patient, and he is one of the worst defensive catchers in the league. Yes he can hit the HR, but he wont keep this pace, and defens eis more important for a catcher.

We have to win 3 of 4 and keep on a good roll, but the starting pitching has me really concerned at this point.

This is the type of win that can change a season BUT, we are not going anywhere until the starting pitching gets going it's may and we have one of the worst ERA's in baseball, this has to change, Romero and happ going this series worries me.
