Someone posted this: "Pete is a Foreign National accused of an offence at the moment. IF he is convicted of DUI (and the charge equates to Impaired Driving in the Criminal Code of Canada) - he could be found inadmissible due to Criminality to Canada. In all likelihood (speaking purely hypothetically) - he may be convicted of a lesser offence which wont affect his entrance eligibility, OR he may apply for a type of waiver called a Temporary Resident Permit (used to overcome inadmissibility)." Hopefully he finds a way to be able to work around it.
