    The AL East is about as difficult as it has ever been. Most divisions have at least one or two s*** teams in them, the AL East has none. That's why some of those other teams in other divisions are projected to get higher win totals.     I thought compensation for moves like this only happen when it's a lateral move. Is there an example of a team getting compensation when someone moves to a higher position with a new organization?

    Stop gap 2nd base, add some RP, and sign a ace at the trade deadline, like the As did this year.

    Saving money on non tendering players, resigning Smoak to cheaper deal, Happ for Saunders saves some more. Really looking good for a big move coming up for the Jays. They could still move Navarro as well. We must have about 20 million available just from looking at what we spent last year. Not to mention Beaston claiming we would be in the 145-150million range, although I never trust what that guy says.

    Martin is still a douche for not playing for team Canada because he wanted to play SS instead of catcher.

    I agree he looks like a great platoon player but I think if he gets more than emergency starts at catcher you can say good bye to most of that production from his bat.

    I'm surprised no one has mentioned Steve Pearce, brought in 4.9 WAR in less than 400PA.
