    Max’s off speed stuff is awful and they are sitting on it. He’s got 96 with life on his fastball at times and he needs to start using that way more even if it exhausts him. They are teeing off on the changeup and curveball, and trying to pace himself with 93mph fastballs isn’t keeping them honest

    It was a decent at bat, came out of his shoes a little on 2-0… hard to take anything away from an AB that ends in an early HBP. I’m no expert but he seems fine behind the plate so far, first time I’ve watched him though
