You would care if you're one of the guys not on PEDs trying to work your way into the majors, competing against all sorts of PED cocktails. I don't mind the 50 and 100 game suspension, but I think there should be a substantial fine that relates to what the players salary is... a lot of these guys are getting HUGE salaries after they put up big PED-induced numbers, so they should have to give it back. -
Not only does he have the lowest BABIP on our team, but of players with at least 150 PA he has the 6th lowest BABIP in the AL and the 3rd lowest SO% in the AL. Without the bad luck Maicer is a totally defensible everyday second baseman batting at the bottom of the line-up. He should provide you with 2 to 3 WAR per season.

Second most annoying thing in baseball = umpires standing slightly to one side of plate so they can see around the catcher, always blow the calls on the other side of the plate.
