  1. His OPS is also at the bottom of the barrel, only above Izzy, Boni, and Kawa
  2. Lol Boni good jump, what they don't tell you is most 2B would be in a better position to make that catch.
  3. Congratulations on taking the quiz the second time after knowing all the answers from the first time you failed.
  4. OK I think Reyes wins via write-in.........
  5. That is very intesting.... you won't even find Davis in the top 250 of highest 'Speed off the bat HRs'..... bizarre Colby has the 3rd fastest this year (not surprising) http://www.hittrackeronline.com/index.php?sortm=sob&sort=desc&skip=0
  6. Uhh...... thanks for that *******!
  7. Honestly Lawrie's defense is SOOOOO over-rated. The guy has explosive range, but his glove hand is not soft (he often fumbles the ball and has to recover) and his throws are often off-target (EE/Lind saved him on so many bad throws last year). While I suspect he will get better over time (since he’s relatively new to 3rd base) he’s not even close to being the best 3B.
  8. Lol..... I fail, at life. Write-ins for Reyes only.
  9. Don't hate on the poll, I think it will be interesting to see because it seems like there is a pretty wide margin of possibility this year.
  10. I liked your theory on Wilner, I've thought it myself.
  11. The more I listening to Wilner the more I dislike him... he always shoots down making predictions - does he not realize this is a big part of being a sports fan?
  12. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but you gotta give JPA some credit, he's had to learn a record number of new pitchers in a short span... that's gotta be mentally exhausting, maybe now that the rotation is somewhat settling down he's playing an all around better game?
  13. Not that obvious to me - I'd take pre-kids Garner over Johanssen.
  14. Opening pitcher: Dickey In the starting rotation: Wang Hutchison Romero (yikes) Shortstop: Izzy Second base: Izzy (not selecting Izzy for both middle-infield but of the two options) Pinch runner: Davis Playing 1st base (other is DH'ing): EE (but close) Catching (assume no KB): JPA (hate this selection but feel like JPA could be good in play-off environment) Setup man: Cecil Closing: Janssen
  15. That's stupid. Either you have an injury you can pitch through or you don't. Either you are a guy who throws 80 MPH and you can pitch through more injuries or you're not.
  16. Let's pretend you're the omnipotent GM and Manager, everyone is healthy, and you have to put a team together/field a team using these combinations for THE WORLD SERIES, assume GAME 1 (you have to pick one of each). Who would you rather have... ? (remember we're assuming no injury) Opening pitcher: Dickey -or- JJ -or- Buehrle? In the starting rotation: Wang -or- Happ? Drabek -or- Hutchison? Romero -or- Ortiz? Shortstop: Kawa -or- Izzy? (Sorry Reyes n/a - not going to make it that easy) Second base: Izzy -or- Boni -or- other player in BJ's system? Pinch runner: Boni -or- Davis? Playing 1st base (other is DH'ing): EE -or- Lind? Catching (assume no KB): Thole -or- JPA? Setup man: Cecil -or- Delabar -or- Loup -or- Oliver -or- Wagner -or- McGowan? Closing: Janssen -or- Santos?
  17. This kind of thinking is just plain dumb.
  18. This post game thread certainly went off the map
