If you look at it realistically the season is already over. Let's say we need 92 wins to get a play-off spot. That means we need to go at least 79-49 the rest of the way (92-13 = 79) (128 games left to play). Which means we need to have a W-L% of .617. To put that in perspective we need to play even better than the best team in baseball last year, the Nationals who has a .605 W-L%. So unless we have angels in the outfield and all of our players are drinking the special juice we might as well start looking forward to 2014.

Kimbrel hasn't lacked control, for example the pitch against Choo tonight was fantastic but he went down and got it.
