  1. Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose.... JOSE, JOSE!!!
  2. So a guy with a career 120 wRC+ bats 7th in a not good lineup? lmao
  3. lol... these trades are nuts, how many newbs are their Newb,
  4. Hook me up with some Big Daddy Vladdy today!
  5. Okay and obviously it's going to be tight so they DO need to go on a run, but I was laughing at the notion of us selling and removing our GM midseason, neither of those things are going to happen, period. We're a half game out, mate? That's chicken little, s*** talk to me. If Toronto don't make noise this season/post-season, I highly doubt Ross will be around to make any moves past October and it'll be warranted.
  6. GW... who's moving Kirilloff, DL73 or StangStag?
  7. Top 30 Jays prospect injuries... Blue Jays LHP Ricky Tiedemann (1) missed the first week of the season with shoulder soreness and has been out since May 4 with biceps inflammation. He is week-to-week. LHP Brandon Barriera (3) was shut down in late May with elbow soreness. He is currently throwing from 90 feet and preparing for bullpen sessions.
  8. They didn't need him anymore, they paid out Escobar's contract and received 2 top 20 spects, good move. Angels are desperado. 17. Coleman Crow | RHP Coleman Crow Born: Dec 30, 2000 Bats: R Throws: R Ht.: 6'0" Wt.: 175 Signed By: Todd Hogan. Minors: 2-0 | 1.88 ERA | 31 SO | 6 BB | 24 IP VIEW PLAYER CARD BA Grade/Risk: 45/High Track Record: The Angels selected Crow in the 28th round of the 2019 draft and signed him for an overslot for $317,500—equivalent to fifth-round money—to lure him from a Kennesaw State commitment. Crow didn’t pitch after signing or during the coronavirus pandemic, but he impressed in his delayed pro debut at Low-A Inland Empire in 2021 and shined as one of the youngest players in the Arizona Fall League. The Angels challenged Crow with an aggressive assignment to Double-A Rocket City in 2022, where he pitched well early but tired down the stretch. He had a 2.82 ERA in his first 12 starts and a 7.08 ERA in his final 12 appearances. Scouting Report: Crow is a slight, 6-foot righthander who is an excellent athlete and intense competitor. His fastball sits 91-93 mph and touches 95 with solid sinking action out of his low three-quarters arm slot.. He still has room to get stronger and add velocity as he matures. Crow's high-spin, low-80's slider is an above-average pitch he can vary the shape of and morph into a power curve as needed. He rounds out his arsenal with an above-average changeup that flashes plus with split action. Crow throws plenty of strikes but has fringe-average command. The Future: Crow’s size and command may limit him to a multi-inning reliever ,but the Angels are banking on his athleticism to help him remain a starter. He could see Triple-A in 2023. Scouting Grades Fastball: 50. Curveball: 45. Slider: 55. Changeup: 50. Control: 45 20. Landon Marceaux | RHP Landon Marceaux Born: Oct 8, 1999 Bats: R Throws: R Ht.: 6'0" Wt.: 179 Signed By: Brandon McArthur. Minors: 3-6 | 4.88 ERA | 45 SO | 19 BB | 59 IP VIEW PLAYER CARD BA Grade/Risk: 45/High Track Record: Following two years on USA Baseball’s 18U national team, Marceaux skipped signing with the Yankees as a 37th-round pick in 2018 and became a three-year starter at Louisiana State. He ended his junior season with a 2.54 ERA and 116 strikeouts over 102.2 innings and was drafted in the third round by the Angels, signing for $765,000. Marceaux made his full-season debut at High-A Tri-Cities in 2022 and posted a 2.65 ERA in 16 starts to earn a promotion to Double-A, but he made only two starts for Rocket City before his season ended due to oblique and back injuries. Scouting Report: Marceaux is a righthanded command specialist who changes speeds with a four-pitch mix to keep hitters off balance. His fastball sits 89-94 mph with late sink that makes it hard to lift and plays up with his ability to locate it. His low-80’s, fading changeup and slider are above-average pitches and his curveball has improved to near average. His ability to manipulate his offspeed pitches and locate them on the corners makes for soft contact and occasional swings and misses. Marceaux has a repeatable, low-effort delivery that allows him to pound the strike zone and locate everything with plus control. The Future: Marceaux’s stuff is pedestrian, but his ability to command a four-pitch mix gives him a chance to be a depth starter or swingman. He'll return to Double-A in 2023. Scouting Grades Fastball: 45. Curveball: 45. Slider: 55. Changeup: 55. Control: 60.
  9. That's a coop for the Mets, they just paid the rest of his contract to get 2 top 20 arms.
  10. Has 2 kids from the same school ever gone 1-2 in the draft before, looking at most mocks it seems these 2 guys are getting popped from LSU... https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-pipeline-2023-mock-draft-june-22?t=mlb-draft-coverage
  11. So you think the Jays should sell and replace the GM midseason? lol... that ain't happening, bro.
  12. Tough loss man, Bassitt has to be better.
