Roster is a train-wreck for sure, but now that we pretty much know we are not going to compete this year, our catching situation is pretty clear. Jansen will get the call-up at some point either late this year or early next and can spell Martin a decent amount and learn from the master. There are worse things in the world than having a young catcher split time with a guy like Russ for a year +/-, and its totally justifiable so Russ shouldn't be upset by it. If it wasn't for the $20M factor, this would actually be a pretty ideal situation in terms of development. I do wonder if you ate a bunch of money if you could move Russ later next year. He's still valuable defensively and I think has been a bit unlucky this year with the stick.

Is anyone in the DDL friends on FB? With the site as spotty (and the PM function so s*****), it might be nice to have a group on FB for trade chatter and other BS. I figure we've been playing fantasy for like 5 years, so the 'anonymity' thing might not be as big a deal as it once was.

Nobody should think Biggio is doing what Vladdy is doing, but his raw numbers are pretty much as impressive. Its not the same, but I think he's proven he's an actual prospect worth following.

ok, I think I have this correct, but please check your picks if you have been involved in a deal in the last few days. I downloaded a copy of the sheet yesterday for records but apparently there was an error at that point as well.

ok, the spreadsheet was f***ed up hard here... 6 errors on the tracker. Who has editing powers on the sheet? 2 picks doubled up, 3 picks missing, and only 119 picks out of what is supposed to be 120. As much as I don't want to, perhaps we pair down the number of people who have editing access on the sheet... I'll try and sort this out tonight

basically. If I had to choose between Trout and Mookie, yeah, I choose Trout. Guy is a machine. Best of our generation, maybe best ever when its all said and done. But you can't argue that Mookie isn't having an MVP type year as well so far. Will come down to who keeps it up through the year (or if another guy steps up) As for Shohei, he's just fun god dammit!
